Cap manager will surely be watching closelyRagingBull wrote: ↑Thu Nov 04, 2021 2:08 pmNot really.
They also team up with Saracens.
Most likely trying to get into all the clubs

I would very much be down to keep Tom Cowan-Dickie on for next season tbh
Montoya, Dolly, Clare, TCD give Vanes another season in the championship.

same, having 5 hookers may seem a waste but with internationals I think its needed and TCD wouldn't be commanding the biggest wageRagingBull wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 11:31 am I would very much be down to keep Tom Cowan-Dickie on for next season tbh

I think with Tom taking time out indefinitely that's a very strong possibility. I can't see us going looking for anyone else with 2 international hookers already on the books and Clare a very good stand in when needed. TCD would be a perfect fit for that 4th spotRagingBull wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 11:31 am I would very much be down to keep Tom Cowan-Dickie on for next season tbh

Oakham lad born and bred, Tigers season ticket holder who is enjoying steady progression back towards the good old days!

I expect Saracens to replace Tim Swinson with Kruis

They would be stupid too Swinson all season or lose Itoje and Kruis for most of the season. Not like they have a Skelton to magically fill in either lol.
Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Lord of the Mauls
Swinson came out of retirement on a very small deal as well. Only way Kruis fits back in is if Mako and Billy move on I'd guess.

Can we safely assume that if Mr Jaco Taute doesn’t show up in the squad this weekend that it may be curtains for him? Not a single mention of him since the end of last season!
Sale in the PRC, I’d like to see JVP, Lancaster, Socino 9,10,12 with Kini Saumaki and Browning covering the back 3. Guy at 13 and we’re good to go.
Forwards, would like to see Vanes and Ilione get a shot.

Is Illione a 6 or 7?

From what I've seen a very dynamic and explosive 6. Reminded me a little bit of a young Steve Mafi. He played 7 for England under 20s but their game plan didn't really allow for a natural openside. In the short bit of game I saw him in he was an immediate stand out. Jumped at the lineout and his athleticism round the pitch really caught the eye. Was a real shame he went off injured. I'm very interested to see if he gets some game time in the PRC to see how he's developing. Could be an ideal fit for Tigers under Borthwick.

To win is not as important as playing with style!
