Cheers as always RB.
Going back a couple of years here but I was watching highlights from an old U18s game earlier, I was wondering if you've any idea where Sam Eveleigh ended up?
With most players who leave after the development squad you can find something online (Bungaroo in Federale 1, Keston Lines at Chinnor in div 1, Gilliland at Nottingham Trent Uni, etc) but Eveleigh seems to have disappeared. It might just be that he moved out of rugby but was wondering if anyone has any idea if Sam's still playing?

Yes it is much appreciated RB. The thought crosses my mind that with all your research and knowledge about the Club that you could be one of those " non-exec" directors!

Thanks RB.. top drawer as always.
Not sure this is the best thread to post this on but as it’s about players from the Tigers squad I’ll stick it on here.
Just read an article and it said “ In just three and half Premiership games since returning from the Springboks’ Rugby Championship campaign, the tireless van Staden has made 62 tackles in Leicester colours while Wiese hammered into the Northampton defence and despite a yellow card, made 11 tackles, 15 carries and covered 74 metres with ball in hand”
That is some impact the pair have had and those tackle stats by MVS are insane. Absolute machine and both will have big parts to play once they return from the AI. Glad we keep them during the 6N window!

Yeah the recruitment has been exceptional the last couple of seasons. We have a nice balance with the young squad players challenging them for the starting shirts. Reffell was excellent off the bench again and Chessum had another good game.OakhamTiger32 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 02, 2021 7:22 pm Thanks RB.. top drawer as always.

I'm interested to see what we do next summer, I assume most of it will be focussed on retention. There will be some wiggle room with some likely to head out but not too many.
Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Lord of the Mauls
Borthwick said recently that the shaping of the squad is ongoing. Hope we are able to keep players like Moroni, Ford, etc but we do have a few fringe players and loanees that will probably go to make cap space for perhaps one or two additional players.
