With Ford leaving could Genge have the marquee spot?TigerMac3 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 06, 2021 5:11 pm Think he’ll end up at Bristol eventually. Maybe not under Lam, after the way he handled himself when Genge was last out of contract.
Would be surprised if he were to leave now, having just taken the captaincy and looks to have local business interests here, but suppose with the cap coming down, it could happen. He’s only 26, one more contract with us then off to the south west.

no you cannot join another Prem club and be a Marquee player until you are in your third seasonfentiger wrote: ↑Mon Dec 06, 2021 6:08 pmEqually can he be a marquee at another premiership club?GETHIN EXILE wrote: ↑Mon Dec 06, 2021 5:45 pmWith Ford leaving could Genge have the marquee spot?TigerMac3 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 06, 2021 5:11 pm Think he’ll end up at Bristol eventually. Genge was one of the players that was unhappy, for a number of reasons, at the way players are/were treated generally (not just at Leicester) . Plus the covid paycuts saga.
I don't think any player is a safe bet to stay in Leicester if another leading club offers a comparable deal. The only players I can't see leaving ever are Tom and Ben Youngs.

Last time I checked it was still in the same spot on Allendale Road as it has been for about a decade!
The second venture into Market Harborough didn't really work but Timo's is still open as far as I know

Guess if Genge goes, Hanro goes to full captain.

Correct. Castro was involved in the one at Allendale Road. The second one in Market Harborough I think had a different team and Murphy joined Castro in the investment, it's not open anymore.sk 88 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 06, 2021 8:26 pmLast time I checked it was still in the same spot on Allendale Road as it has been for about a decade!
