As one poster mentioned - use of a vpn is not fool proof. Some websites recognise that you are via a vpn and don’t treat you as being from the country you’re pretending to be in, ie Aus in the example given.

For example, if you’re abroad and pretend to be in the Uk via a vpn a number of websites know you are using a vpn eg Netflix, bbc and ironically BT sport!

It depends on the VPN (some work, some don't) and on which device (and settings) you use. If you are using a mobile with GPS and mobile data, you might have less success than a laptop over wifi. With a Windows laptop, I have never had a problem accessing UK (or US or whatever) Netflix, BBC, BT Sport etc

I note that Sixways was also marked out as a soccer pitch which I don't remember seeing before (or is that just me getting older and dafter?). Which soccer team plays there?
