Riccioni looks like a good find by Sarries in fairness to them.

Sarries already reminding us how annoying their over the top celebrations are….cos someone knocked the ball on. Think both teams look weaker than Tigers. I would fancy our scrum over both theirs at the same time.

Agreed with all the above, although Tigers have yet to perform for real this season. We should know a lot more tomorrow.

We have a hooker at hooker, which helps in our scrum.

Pat Lam :smt018

Lost all respect for him

Posted in the wrong thread but can both of them lose please.

Sarries defence looks good as does their scrum…… too much kicking but I expect the same tomorrow I’m afraid

I’ve always said that no matter what happened with the despicable salary cheating Sarries was a well coached club: tonight’s performance proves the point.
Great defence and a clever mix of kicking with discipline issues sorted out after poor start with regards of the new rules.
Bristol didn’t have many players missing!

2 of the 3 new laws not needed. The third, about not hitting/twisting jackallers lower limbs not needed either. Bristol seemed stuck for ideas and how much did Saracens line speed owe to being marginally (or more) offside?

Bristol burying their head in the sand after the semifinal defeat and not deciding to replace Earl, Malins or S.Piutau in the off-season could prove to be huge mistakes, unless tonight gives them the kick up the proverbial to bounce back.

Too early to make conclusive statements but I don’t think tonight’s result should come as a huge result.
