Seems like the Bucs games are getting priority, most of the guys who played the early league games now playing mid-week in that competition.

Aren't Holmes, Bateman and Maksymiw ex players and not out on loan?
Yes, it was just in case anyone was interested. Owolfela is our only loanee there but sometimes it's interesting to see how former players are getting on and as it was all on the same team sheet I just added it in.

Ollie Smith is another ex-Tiger as well. I was certainly surprised he didn't get a contract.

I'd presume that J Plunkett is former Tigers academy hooker Joe as well?

Teddy Leatherbarrow was highly rated at Scotland U20s. When Loughborough get Lavin, Leatherbarrow and Kit Smith together they will have a dynamite back row for Nat 2 North.

Kit Smith is with Coventry.
Also think you might be thinking of Teddy's younger brother Ollie if you are talking about this years U20's he's with Exeter Uni

Thinking of Teddy back in 2019 with Scotland U20s. Both brothers are talented.

Interesting that Kit is still listed on the Loughborough website. Was he with them whilst with Tigers?

Lavin has done well on his injury comeback, really enjoy watching lads who have to go through the pathway. Every step must tell a story for each them

I'm sure Kit was named in a Loughborough University side in pre season. Might be combining his studies with the gig at Coventry. If Cov aren't utilising him he might get chance to play for Loughborough on a dual reg maybe?

Really glad Lavin is back playing. Looked like a talent when he came through. We've seen players develop at Uni level then come to Prem clubs before re Underhill, Dombrandt, Northmore as examples. Dan Kelly joined us after showing up well at Loughborough. Hopefully our coaches are keeping an eye on him and some of the other Uni lads to see if any develop a little later than others.

Watched their game a couple of weeks ago against Northumbria. Titcombe and Lavin started, both seemed to play well. The starting Loughborough hooker looked mobile, like he was doing his best Cowan-Dickie impersonation. Also, impressed with the starting centres, Pope and Lewis, I think, who were consistent sources of front foot ball.
