As much as I like watching great international rugby and will also support Tigers, whoever they play for, I have to say i'm a club first, country second type of guy.

It really grits me to see some of our best players unavailable for portions of the season because they are playing international rugby. Assuming they get back unscathed, the lay off period just adds to the frustration.

I appreciate this was known when they were signed etc it just still narks me off.

Monday rant over!
keep dreaming and you'll keep wondering

Springboks getting badly found out now, which makes the Lions series in retrospect a massive waste of time and opportunity lost. Gatland picked a touring squad to play attacking rugby as well supposedly :smt013

If that happens I hope the positive may be he will serve out any ban over the remainder of the Championship and be free to play post his return and rest at Tigers.
