Very true! Can’t wait to see our back row of Liebenberg Van Staden and Wiese lining up together!
Indeed, but the question remains when?
& why would you drop Reffell...
To win is not as important as playing with style!

Yes, Reffell has been excellent in both games: from watching a Tigers behind the posts at games you really see just how much great work he does.
If he doesn’t play we struggle to put teams under pressure at the breakdown and with speed to get tackles in early.
We need to keep him as he is starting to look like Neil Back in defence and attack.
If we keep winning then the international lads, Clare, Young’s etc will need to both train well then come off the bench to earn their place. Keeps everyone honest like in Martin Johnson’s era.

Reffell has been excellent but he's going to have to play an awful lot of games especially in this early part of the season being as he's currently our only recognised 7, the best part about getting Van Staden is we can rotate two top class 7's in the latter half of the season

Rotation in an attritional position like back row isn't being dropped. In some games I'd love to see twin 7s in Van Staden and Reffell playing...
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Reality is we will rarely ever have all our back row fit.

Nature of the position most top teams have 2 good back rows.

Never said I’d drop him just simply that I can’t wait to see those 3 play together. As previous posters mentioned there will need to be rotation in the back row and we are very well stocked

A repeat win against South Africa next week will see a 'clean sweep' for New Zealand in the tournament.

Van Standen out of the last SA game with a shoulder injury, Wiese taking his spot on the bench.

You do like a foreign import Oakham. I can remember when you were salivating about the arrival of Kobus.

I do you are right.. Kobus I was less excited about although on some of his previous performances before joining I did have high hopes for him. Marco is a different beast altogether.. now that back row does get me salivating!

That said I’ve got a lot of time for the home grown talent.. Steward, JvP, Heyes, Martin, Henderson, Chessum.. lots of talented youngsters coming through who I rate very highly

Argentina suffer a blow as players and staff banned from The Championship for a breach of 'health rules' :

This. Not so much the dual sevens but the rotation. You cannot expect Reffell to play every game. He's been awesome this season but at some point his body will need some rest from games. He can't keep battering away at breakdowns for 80 mins week in and week out.

Two fresh high quality sevens rotating and pushing each other on in a competition for the shirt. That's what we want.

Don't forget we also have Brink who will be challenging for a position when fit.

For me I see our options as:

6. Liebenberg, Martin
7. Reffell, Van Staden
8. Wiese, Brink

Certain players can cover multiple positions and I’m not saying those listed first would be first choice but I imagine this is what we will likely see. Great strength in depth and good cover across the back row
