Rassie vs The World

Post by kpj tiger »

So Rassie Erasmus has taken the off field antics to a new level and released an hour long video including 23 clips in which he goes in pretty hard on the refereeing team from last week, personally not sure how I feel about all this, on the one hand I have been pretty critical about refereeing standards in the last few years so its refreshing to see somebody official pointing this stuff out but on the other hand a 1 hour public video is maybe not the right way to do it.

Edit: forgot to add the link to the video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epFrwtf ... ymag.co.za

Have just seen Will Kelleher of the Daily Mail point out that the video breaks at least 5 World Rugby regulations, could well find himself in hot water

Its truly painful listening, some of it really comes across like a kid arguing with a teacher

His bluntness is his subtleness. A really clever way of balancing up the refeeering decisions next Saturday which will probably now go South Africa's way..

It could be the last time the Lions ever go to South Africa, sad desperate man, dragging the game and the name into the gutter.

All mind games, but this is a step too far… understand the frustrations around the WR appointment of Jonker as TMO, but the rest is unprofessional and unwarranted.

I was very disappointed with how the Lions management called out the TMO before the first test that was really unprofessional. This is even worse. This is rugby you are supposed to take sir's word and move on, leave it for the fans to debate.

I hope World Rugby drag both Gatland and Rassie before a tribunal and hand out some fines to discourage this sort of clown like display.

Well if you will provide people with a filter-less platform for their egos, what do you expect?
