Hopefully a sign he's fit soon
That is good news!

I can't wait to see him and Chessum play together!
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Think Van Staden was confirmed as concussed, so I expect he'll be having to go through the return to play protocols

We don't often bother with the HIA in terms of returning to the game we tend to just make a permanent replacement and look after the player and not risk a second head knock.

when players react like he did there is no point taking the risk borderline call he goes for the HIA

I'm happy for any player needing a HIA to be subbed off. Take no risks.

When he returns it will depend on him passing the HI protocols. Can be quite short these days if ok.

Any news on the status of HL? I think he re-injured the same shoulder/arm?With MVS concussed and CB out the door, we don't have THAT much depth in the back row (or do we?)

It looked extremely serious to me, expect a long lay off.

Wiese has been cited for having accumulated 3 yellows, so likely a 1 match ban.

If HL is injured, Wiese banned and VS concussed, it will be interesting to see who is named at 8 this weekend.

I’d say it will be Martin with Chessum at 6
