100% anything less than a championship would be very disappointing, especially if they truly fancy themselves for the world cup.

The clean sweep of AUS, SA and NZ in one day must be pretty rare in the AI
Pretty rare in any competition.. first time in about 15 years I think the commentators said
Second time in last decade. First win for France in Paris vs ABs since 1973.

Fair play to France, that was some performance, thought they'd blown it when ABs came back hard at them, luck of an intercept (well read by penaud) and momentum swung back. Let's hope they've peaked early and 6N and RWC they revert to crumbling under pressure :smt003 :smt002 :smt002

We’re building quite nicely towards the World Cup. Now for a good 6N!

From these games, I think in theory 3 teams could win the 6 nations, England, France and Ireland. Given Ireland are away against the other two it will probably come down to the last game in Paris. I wouldn't be shocked if Scotland are 4th but think Wales depending on how many stay on the pitch......

Lots of deserved plaudits for our Freddie, but Jaminet looks quality at 15 too!

How many of their opponents stay on the pitch? 😜

A lot can happen between now and the start of the 6N although in commentary it was pointed out that when this French side were U20s they were seen as something special.

The moment when Ntamack was in the smelly stuff in the in goal area and shimmied out was a thing of beauty almost creating a score at the other end! France have strength in depth in several positions, notably hooker, with Julien Marchand, Camille Chat and Pierre Bougarit (careful with the pronunciation !) in the mix. I thought for one moment that France had run out of steam when NZ got within two points. Either NZ raised their game or the French were knackered, but the impact of the replacements was key. Can’t wait for the 6N!

France have both Ireland and England at home in 2022 so this is really their best chance to win it and dare to think possible Grand Slam? They are also the current bookies favourites to win it.

Somewhat inevitable.....
New Zealand look at coaches after France defeat :

Looming shadow of Scott Robertson (Crusaders)
Seemingly heading rapidly toward senility .....Not long or far to go now , in fact, getting worse daily.....

Always struggled with the way England always let Edwards coaching talents slip away.
