Anyone been to Connacht before, if so, any suggestions for a good reasonable priced hotel etc? I have asked on the Connacht FB page for suggestions.

Latest information from the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs: https://www.dfa.ie/travel/travel-advice ... t-britain/

From gov.uk:

From 19 July:

All travellers to Ireland will need to fill out a Passenger Locator Form. Failure to complete this form is an offence
No travel-related testing or quarantine will be necessary for travellers from Great Britain with valid proof of full vaccination
If you do not have valid proof of vaccination and are travelling from Great Britain you will need to:
present evidence of a negative RT-PCR test result within 72 hours prior to arrival into the country
self-quarantine
undergo post-arrival testing

Obviously, this is subject to change, so I recommend all fans to regularly check the two websites after purchasing tickets.

Nearly always drive. The Wild Atlantic Way around the western seaboard is absolutely brilliant. Take a few days to see the sights.
But you can fly to Knock from Stansted.
