Not sure if Leatherbarrow is still with Sale?
No I think Teddy is with Sale. This is a brother(?). TBH Ollie looked very good. If I ran a premiership club I’d be making space in a development squad for Ollie. I also thought Fin Smith was impressive as England’s FH.
As to Tigers: JVP looked good, but a bit worried about Emeka Ilione who looked to have dislocated his shoulder?
Don’t know why Archie Vanes didn’t appear on the team sheet -injury?

Poor game really, Scotland should have won that, Dan Lancaster has something about him though.
You could have given Scotland another 20 minutes and they probably wouldn't have scored again. They were phenomenal at the breakdown but other than that meh.
Agree on the comments about the England backrow. Ilione was badly missed after his early iniury. Clement and Brooke are big and mobile but they are not particularly dynamic or explosive so just got nowhere close to shifting the Scottish jackals.

They didn’t win because they either didn’t have the confidence or the brains to go for the three instead of touch, which would have racked up pretty quickly considering England conceded a lot of penalties in their own half. England might have still snuck it, but the scoreboard would have more accurately reflected the game.

Fair point. Though a lot of the England penalties were conceded one after another in their own 22. I'm not sure Scotland would have been able to play out every time and get back down to the England half in order to slot another three without the risk of conceding another try.
I know, someone pointed out that he could've been replacing Illione that's why Eddie hasn't kept him.
I don't see that happening, demoting a player from the full squad would look odd
Yes I thought so too but according to one poster it's happened before with Ted Hill. I think the main point though is trying to work out why Martin hasn't made Eddie's squad

To be fair, with Ted Hill it wasn’t instantaneous. He was capped at senior level in November 2018 but didn’t play again for U20s until either the Six Nations or the World Championships much later that season in 2019.
