Great for JVP to captain this team, just fantastic experience for him.

The commentators must have been watching a different game! There was no sudden improvement by Italy, but England slumped badly in the second half. The lineout fell apart, and the scrum never had dominance. Decision making went to pot, and too many stupid penalties given away.
BUT, well done England!

It is still great experience to help these young players in the future to have to scrap through when things aren’t going their way. Both the scrum and the line out looked vulnerable nevertheless they still won (relatively) comfortably.Pundit wrote: ↑Tue Jul 13, 2021 3:47 pm The commentators must have been watching a different game!
