What happens to your favourite back row when Van Staden arrives?

7 is an attritional position, you need more than one. Don't wanna ever see Liebenberg or Brink there in the future now!

Most teams seem to try and have 6 back rowers who are all either starting quality or close to it.
Previous we have been lucky to have 1 back rower who could start elsewhere.

Have we got a 7 coming through RB? Terrible news about Gough, apparently he was the real deal. Wish him well!

IDK.
We have Kit Smith who isn't the traditional 7 type more a Brink type.
Ilione is the big back row prospect currently all the noise makes it seem that he currently on Martin/Steward level of hopes. But he's had his fair share of time out.
Also with England U20's playing him at 7 he might well be viewed as a 7 going forward, not sure about it personally.

In my opinion the lineout improved considerably when Lavanini came on because of his experience playing with Montoya at international level.
