On recent performances I would say Wells is our best lock.

Then for me it's a tossup between Green & Lavannini.

Personally I think despite people saying he's not that good, when he doesn't play our pack look less dominant when Green doesn't play.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

..... After all we managed Back, Moody and Kronfeld?
[/quote]

May be we didn’t from Kronfeld’s perspective. I came across this when looking for media comment about yesterday’s game. Odd how things crop up!

Depending on injuries, I’d go for:

Liebenberg Wiese Reffell
Youngs Ford
Kelly Scott
Nadolo Steward Moroni

Youngs, Bruin, Heyes, Wells, Brink, JVP, McPhillips, Muri

Moroni has played wing a fair bit for Argentina but he is making that 13 shirt his own and has been outstanding.. we are spoiled for choice on the wing, wouldn't change it.

1. Genge
2. Montoya
3. Cole
4. Lavanini
5. Wells
6. Liebenberg
7. Reffell
8. Wiese
9. Youngs
10. Ford
11. Nadolo
12. Scott
13. Moroni
14. Muri
15. Steward

16. Youngs
17. De Bruin
18. Heyes
19. Green
20. Martin
21. JvP
22. JMcP
23. Kelly

*Brink is injured I'm pretty sure so doubt he will feature

The thing we need against Wasps is at least one winger with pace.
Before the awful ending on Saturday we had had anyone really getting to our kicks ahead (although Montoya did brilliantly one one occasion late on) and Bristol got on the outside of Muri and Nadalo too easily. Wasps, as we know from painful defeats at The Ricoh, get the ball to their wings, Basset in particular very quickly.
Porter, Simmons must surely be in with a chance. JVP has to be involved.
Considering all his experience in the last few scrums v Bristol Uren did a number on Wigglesworth, who had been decent until then.
We need to score at least 4 tries if we are to beat Wasps so JVP gives us a chance as he’s a try scorer and his breaks cause havoc.
Need Ford fit too.
Discipline will also be vital again in terms of no high tackles.

Not sure Porter is fit as he's still going through the return to play protocols after the bang on the head

Agreed but not just a winger, pace is something we badly lack compared to our competitors and in my opinion we must plug that hole sooner than later if we are going to continue our undoubted progress.

Maybe Browning will get a run out? Van Wyk is quick, he just doesn't look like a player that fits our gameplan at the moment.

I agree with others if we want a quick winger stick Browning or Simmons out there.

Nothing announced yet and we are plus 48hrs so unless I've misunderstood the criteria we should be ok
