Re: 1 Round to go what we need
Personally I’d prefer the Champions Cup Competition.
Would be great to see the big French teams again at WR. I think our pack would relish the opportunity to have a go at a La Rochelle or Racing 92. Mouthwatering!
After our performances against Montpellier, Ulster and more recently Bristol, though I don’t see us getting out of the group stages if we get in the Champions Cup,, I do see us competing, fearing no one, causing an occasional shock, and being better for it. Which is amazing when you think what SB took over not that long ago.

Agreed, to properly catch up to the top teams we need to face them and measure ourselves against them.Scott1 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 06, 2021 9:54 pmYes,I wanna see our pack against one of the monsters!aslongaswebeatsaints wrote: ↑Sun Jun 06, 2021 9:53 pm Personally I’d prefer the Champions Cup Competition.

Re: 1 Round to go what we need
It's a good Bristol team reckon they are fully aware that Chiefs could get a TBP win v Sale.
Re: 1 Round to go what we need
I'm quietly confident we will get top 8,especially after Chiefs win at Saints.

Re: 1 Round to go what we need
That was key.. left it late but they got the job done. That's a strong Bristol side and should be enough to beat Irish but nothing is certain. Bristol at home too so my money is on them.

London Irish have to win and for us to get 0 Bonus points.
Re: 1 Round to go what we need
Technically Newcastle could overturn a whopping points difference to get ahead of us, would need a 78 point swing between the two games, so 39 points per game. Tough ask.Jimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Fri Jun 11, 2021 4:27 pm if that gets called off that would seal top 8 for us wouldn't it?
Goooooodeeeeeyyyyy!
Re: 1 Round to go what we need
I would HATE to qualify like that!
