I would HATE to qualify like that!

It wouldn’t be ideal but this whole season has been far from ideal in many respects. Top 8 however it comes I’d take. If the Irish game is off it takes the pressure off and might actually help us relax and play some rugby tomorrow. It’s not how I’d choose to qualify but I’d take it over a possible European Cup final loss and 9th in the table. Let’s wait and see what comes of the report if anything

technically could finish 9th, if Newcastle get a bonus point win and over turn a 78 point difference and we get nothing

I very much doubt it.

I think it was broken yesterday that there were two failed lateral flow tests and we had to wait to this morning to find out PCR results that were the ones that cancel the game. There's no way that materially changed the team, all happened too last minute.
