PREMIERSHIP Round 21

Post by Tigerbeat »

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/57319331

Bath v Gloucester called off due to Covid at Kingsholm.........Bath likely to get the 4 points moving them to 47........which would be 1 point behind Tigers at present.
Gloucester, 2pts to go to 43

Bath at home to Northampton and Gloucester away to Worcester in the final round of matches.

Tigers really need 1 win or 5 points out of the next two matches to ensure a top eight finish.

Exciting end to the season.

Iive on Channel 5. Tigers haven't featured in the games shown by channel 5 so far, so I've got my fingers crossed they might correct this with the Bristol match...

Last away game of the season, 4th place secured. Makes sense to rest some of the forwards to avoid them being roughed up and broken by Sale. Could be a miserable evening for the Quins forward pack, not sure Wallace will be overjoyed rejoining in time for this.

I remember a pre season a couple of years and an interviewer caught up with Billy V and asked the question “what have you been doing this summer”? It wasn’t spending time with wife, kids, family ,going on holiday etc it was “staying humble”! Utter rehearsed drivel,so hard to like as a club! 🤮
