Re: RIP Bleddyn
A very sad loss to Leicestershire and Wales.sincerest condolences to his family who have lost him at such a young age.
He certainly had a unique method of commentary. I was never really sure who had the ball or where we were on the pitch but it always sounded exiting!

Very nice tribute to him today, by Daniel Schofield, back page of Daily Telegraph Sport.

Gorffwys mewn heddwch.
Much too soon, going home listening to Radio Leicester after the match will never be the same, thankyou.

Nice little tribute on BT sport just now too.
Re: RIP Bleddyn
My seat is not far from where Bleddyn used to sit for his commentary. I found the pic of the shirt with the microphone during the silence very moving. I just about remember him from his playing days. Tears in my eyes.

This evening was for Bleddyn. He would have loved it!
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Re: RIP Bleddyn
I had the pleasure of working with Bleddyn when I was a teenager working for Geoff Peters and Matthew Kenyon in the studio as a part timer working on the highlight reels. He was always warm and friendly down the wires without ever having met me in person. His commentary was random back even in those days but his style and voice will be long remembered. RIP Bleddyn
