The emergence of a lock. Itoje and Lawes are world class. Lawes has been on a different level since he’s been back and Launchbury is a very good international player but for me Hill and Ewels are distinctly ordinary at the top level. I’m struggling to see how Hill is a Lion! It’s a big drop off and the chance is there.
Back row: Wilson has been a very good servant for us but he’s on the way down the mountain now and looked out of place in the 6N,another big chance for someone to put their hand up!
10,12,13! I don’t want to see F and F again and I especially don’t want to see F, F and S EVER again! We’ve got world class wingers,use them!
Would anyone like to add to my points or add anything of their own?
I would suggest that writing Ford off is premature.
I could be writing Farrell off

Also bombed badly in said final,2 6N too. It definitely doesn’t work with Slade,I don’t believe that’s really up for debate. And our pack and defence wins most of our games and we live off scraps with the occasional worldy try from one of our wingers. It’s hardly ever a functioning back line. Kick, kick, kick, kick zzzzzzzzzzzz

It’s funny how my other points were completely ignored though and everyone jumped on the Ford bone! 😂

Is that the players or the lack of attack coach though?
against SA we got beaten up badly against a monster pack.

Perhaps it’s not the lack of an attack coach but the constant turnover of attack coaches in my view. Our defence has been good because we have had two good defence coaches (Gustard, now Mitchell) for a good period of time.

Bristol:
Capon
Earl
Malins

Randall

Exeter:
J. Simmonds
Williams

Harlequins:
Dombrandt
Marchant
Smith

Sale:
Curry
Quirke

Sorry Ford Farrel Slade
Though :censored: is also the three words that come out of my mouth when I see an England team sheet with that midfield.

I think yes, but depending on which 2 get knocked out it's worth noting the two finalists only have the "full" England squad to get into, as the "A" squad is just from those already picked plus losing Semifinalists.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.
