Article about Dan Kelly: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/rugby-union ... n-england/

Typically it’s behind a paywall unfortunately…

"He's rested," explained Jones on Ford's omission from the England squad. "He has got a nagging calf injury that he has carried all season and he's battled his way through. The best thing for him now is to have a good recovery period and get his body ready for the next period of time."

Good luck to Owen captaining us from SA 🤪
Great news though!

Happy for all of our international recognition but have to admit I'm especially pleased for Harry Wells.A fantastic season from an underrated player who's attitude encapsulates what our club and team both need and want.A Full Cap would be a great climax to a great season both from and for him.

It's nice to see Tigers getting international recognition again.

I hope Genge gets proper recognition by being played when up to speed rather than as a bench warmer with minimal game time.

Good post! It's very clear his limited time with England hurts us when he comes back cold. He's England number 1 LH for me now and should be starting

In fact, I wonder if Jones will be keeping a close eye on how Genge goes tomorrow as Captain…

He probably suggested that Gengie be the Captain tomorrow!
I expect that Eddie asked Tommy if he wanted a few games for England too whilst he was there.

Could Genge be England’s captain in these tests?

It's funny I said the same thing after watching Eddie saying he would like to see more of his senior players taking Captain roles at their clubs.

No Farrell, Itoje, Youngs or Ford this summer could see Captain Rhino with England

All 6 Tigers players kept for next Saturday’s England A fixture.

The following players have been dropped:
Jack Singleton (Gloucester), Tom Willis (Wasps), Tom de Glanville (Bath), Fraser Dingwall (Northampton), Ollie Hassell-Collins (London Irish), Tom Parton (London Irish) & Ben Spencer (Bath).

Players who have been called up:
Will Capon, Max Malins and Harry Randall (Bristol) plus Ben Curry, Curtis Langdon, Bevan Rodd and Manu Tuilagi (Sale) with Northampton’s Ollie Sleighthome and George Furbank

Spencer dropped and no call up for Earl or O’Conor are the standouts from this.

Shocked no Earl, guy was class for Bristol. He’s got everything for a backrower, some ways a more physical version of Simmonds.

Pleased too for Willis following nasty injury earlier in the season....
