Let's hope and pray that Leinster aren't drawn at home in the semis and have to go to Toulouse, Clermont, Bordeaux, Racing or La Rochelle.
Watching La Rochelle this afternoon was a joy and they could go all the way.
Tomorrow's games between Clermont / Toulouse and Bordeaux / Racing should be gripping. Will you be able to watch them in the UK - apart from on the net?

The french refs don’t seem to care about head shots. Must drive coaches nuts.
Nor the offside law, forward passes or obstruction. A messy game because of poor officiating IMHO.

Slade plays so much better for Exeter than for England.

I thought Slade was decent, wasn't impressed with either Simmonds brother today though

Wiese is 100% a better No8 but Simmonds doesn't exactly play the traditional No8 role for Exeter
Agree with this. I thought Slade was excellent. A class act. Don’t get me wrong Moroni is a fine player but Slade should be in the Lions squad.

Sam Simmonds suffers from England not having a very large back line. England have no one (minus Tuilagi) who gets them forward outside of 10
and therefore Jones refuses to pick Sam Simmonds because he doesn’t add the value that Jones wants. If you are planning a Lions back line of Davies, North, Henshaw then Gatland may have a different opinion.

Have to admit ,what with Balls assault and the one that’s been described in today’s Chiefs/Leinster game as well as other incidents why are European competitions reffing different to the GP as regards to high shots ,it should be uniform across the board!

I don’t think European refs are given different directives to what they do in their own leagues which seems absurd to me.

Did a player join in front of Herring after the ball was passed back? It was close!
