Ian Cant wrote: Sat Apr 10, 2021 8:27 pm Chiefs at last were reffed properly as for too long they have got away with things that others don't ( just as we did In our first couple of years winning things until Rob Andrew moaned about us!) and yes, they were lucky not to have yellow cards awarded against them and in the Premiership one tackle might have resulted in a red. Like Poit for us the ref in the Chiefs’ game reffed sensibly and fairly.
Thanks Ian,no complaints from me 😂
Text from home, loss did not go down well with the posh in Exe.
I was dissapointed Exeter didn't win and had quite enough of the Leinster love in. As for the refereeing "Great line speed" = "They are offside"

Each to his (or her) own I suppose? 😂😂

Perhaps the beauty now of both competitions is that every remaining club will dispassionately look at who remains and genuinely believe that they have realistic chances of winning their respective competitions. Truly open.

A couple of small observations from the Euro fixtures of Saturday 10 April....
Firstly could not fail to be impressed by La Rochelle's dismantling of Sale - this really could be their year on that standard of performance.
Secondly , there does appear an obvious disparity in interpretation with regard to dangerous play between British and French (European, perhaps) Officials.Whilst the French maybe take a more lenient or common sense approach in the Premiership teams would tend to be playing without out their full compliment.
The issue genuinely does need resolving ,for me at least, as it is the same game under the same set of rules.
Thus far though , again entertaining , though winning does help matters ....

Refs in all leagues don't really ping that anymore.

Were the Simmonds brothers playing yesterday? Just perhaps Eddie knows they can't step up level or two to be successful internationally. Ewers on the other hand was very prominent.

Watching La Rochelle this afternoon was a joy and they could go all the way.
Tomorrow's games between Clermont / Toulouse and Bordeaux / Racing should be gripping. Will you be able to watch them in the UK - apart from on the net?
I think BT Sport2 will be showing both matches, Bordeaux/Racing at 12h30 UK time and then Clermont/Toulouse at 3h00 UK time.
Don't miss them!!

Just been on Chiefs forum. Even their fans admitting why Simmonds isn't in Englands thoughts, test match intensity and apparently he was largely anonymous. Was also mentioned how lack of a proper openside killed them and they were schooled at the BD. Anyone who watched it add anything?

Fantastic work ref and TMO,even a penalty is harsh but I've seen reds given for them.
