I'm absolutely puzzled by that game, great result for us but Connaught seemed to have more of the open play and were very quick, especially their 14.

Our game seemed to be up front, or off our high kicks and their mistakes?

Really enjoyed the helter skelter of it, but I am worried as to how they came through our ruck to score their tries. Maybe our 1st XV would have had guards in position, but when you look back at the colossal amount of defending we had to do, I can feel a little sorry for the phenomenal input the visitors made to the game.

Bring on Newcastle next week, wonder what team will be out?

My heart was in my mouth for most of that game, but blimey did our lads turn up, very well done.

Something needs to be done with the TMO (process) this season has shown it’s clearly not fit for purpose.

When was the last time we had 6 different try scorers in a match? :smt017

Still buzzing after that game

How did Wiese not get MoM?

I think had he scored his try when they awarded it then he would likely have but Clare did have a fantastic game and scored 2 himself. Thought JMcP was outstanding too

Interesting that we didn’t compete at all at the breakdown. Think I saw Wallace latch once. Wonder if it was premeditated given the speed of the Connacht attack. Youngs very good tonight, really controlled

He did rather butcher one as well..

Thankfully it didn’t affect the result but another shocking ref/TMO display again. I’m sick of it tbh,it’s happening more often than not now.

I think we competed a fair bit early on but weren’t get any change from the referee so decided to back off a little. Couple of times I thought we should have had a penalty for them holding on. Whatever the reason it looks like we changed tactics midway through which was good to see

What a good game. Afraid to pour a drink in case I missed something. As many have said, that team selection and performance has really shown what a rich vein of young talent we have coming through and a strength in depth we have not enjoyed for years. I was depressed with the departure of Manu and Telusa but I now wonder what I was unhappy about. We have a new team with new stars and they are going to set the rugby world alight. The salary cap is being spent well. Well done Coach, I didn't see that coming. Onwards and upwards.

Cannot fault the work ethic of a young and hungry Tigers team, they fought for each other and I was impressed how they fought back after gifting Connacht 3 tries and numerous penalties. Henry is not a 15, very impressed with Mcphillips, Wiese was epic and Potter is blooming. The forwards are a credit to the jersey we are building impressively and if we can reduce the penalties and plug the gaping holes around the ruck we are finally on an upward trajectory. Cannot wait to retake my seat at Welford Rd it's been to long and I want to be there more than ever.
Without hope we are nothing, keep the faith, a Tiger for eternity
