Re: Injury/Suspensions List
Certainly, between Dolly signing and reading that, I'm tempted to agree.
I think it's likely that Nadolo at least may be being targeted for the ¼ if we get there, Brink maybe a week or two later, neither is worth a longer term injury pushing them back too soon.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.
Re: Injury/Suspensions List
As the new hooker has, according to my more knowledgeable Tiger mates, been registered for Europe, it does appear Montoya is out for a very long time.
Shame our training crocked him! He is world class and with him in the side along with Wiese, Hanro, Lavanini, Wells, Martin Cole and Genge with Heyes etc as bench players the pack would really test all sides if we kept our discipline.

Re: Injury/Suspensions List
With regard to Montoya definitely a reasoned assumption.Obviously hope that we are incorrect however.Any side would miss a player of his stature and ability.
Seemingly heading rapidly toward senility .....Not long or far to go now , in fact, getting worse daily.....
Re: Injury/Suspensions List
I did wonder with the investigative medical mention - often you get stuff like stress fractures that look nothing but take ages to repair. I was sooo looking forward to seeing him and LadyGaga on return to WR!

Ashton 6 week ban (misses game vs Tigers)
Dunn 3 week ban (misses game vs Tigers)
Muir 2 week ban (misses game vs Tigers if Bath lose this weekend, if they win he's available to face us)

Re: Injury/Suspensions List
The Ashton decision makes intresting reading given he contested the charge and doesn't have a great record in terms of discipline...

Re: Injury/Suspensions List
Dunn definitely - he got 3 weeks, Muir will be back providing they win against Zebre as he got 2 weeksOakhamTiger32 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 11:15 amThanks TFS. Guess Dunn and Muir will be suspended for the Tigers Bath game at the Rec in a few weeks thenTigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 11:00 am Well Charlie Ewels has been banned for 1 week, Bath have said Dunn and Muir having their hearings Wednesday evening, no word on when Ashton is having his, but given the lack of news about any others suggests likely no tigers have been cited at the weekend, as expected.
C. Ashton got 6 weeks - contested the decision and lost
Less is more....

Chris Ashton perhaps not the most sensible to contest the red decision....

Re: Injury/Suspensions List
For me it sounds like
Montoya + Leatigaga out for the season
Brink about a month out
Nadolo potentially back for prem.

Re: Injury/Suspensions List
Sorry for the delay have got round to updating the Original Post which is now up to date. Let me know if any other updates pop up that I've missed
Ok so Borthwick isn't giving out too many statements on injuries, but we do get snippets here and there so I thought I can compile a list of who is injured and what latest we know about them is:
Nadolo - "on the right track and moving in the right direction" Borthwick (6/4/21)
https://twitter.com/BBCRLSport/status/1 ... 28324?s=19
Montoya - injured in training, has had minor surgery (Borthwick angry at that leaking) stated 13th March "It's going to be some weeks before he's back in"
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/56375730
Brink - "progressing well, but still a little bit of time away from returning" Borthwick (6/4/21)
https://twitter.com/BBCRLSport/status/1 ... 28324?s=19
Leatigaga - had a knee operation & out for "a good period of time" Borthwick (6/4/21)
https://twitter.com/BBCRLSport/status/1 ... 11011?s=19
Van Wyk - banned for 2 more weeks (back vs Saints 24/4)
https://www.leicestertigers.com/news/va ... s-red-card
Youngs, Ford & Genge all served 1 of 2 rest weekends post 6N
