PREMIERSHIP ROUND 12

Post by OakhamTiger32 »

Starts with the main event of course!

Friday

Tigers vs Irish
Sale vs Newcastle

Saturday

Bath vs Exeter
Wasps vs Gloucester
Worcester vs Bristol

Sunday

Quins vs Saints

And the good news is Wayne Barnes is the man in the middle for our match so no excuses!

I'm going for wins for Tigers, Sale, Exeter, Wasps, Bristol and Quins. Potential to climb above Irish if we win but not much else this week in terms of climbing up the table (depending on results of course). If Newcastle and Saints do lose we would be only a few points behind them and we could open up even more of a gap between us and the bottom few clubs.

All to play for. COYT :smt023

Sale v Newcastle could be a good un.

Wasps v Gloucester the battle of two largely out of form teams.

Quins v Saints should provide good entertainment. Two very watchable teams right now.

Wasps vs Glos will be a hard one to call. Depends which side turns up I guess. Wasps have conceded 50 penalties in their last 3 matches!

Been very surprised by their drop off in form. Blackett has rightly been getting plaudits for their form since he took over but he'll be under the pump if slump continues.

Given the vaugue description of "some of the squad who have received less playing time during the tournament will be given the opportunity to play for their clubs in their respective fixtures this weekend"

Who do we expect to be offered this chance.

Obvious ones, the guys who haven't played at all
Martin
Odogwu
Mitchell
Ribbans

I'd also expect
Lawrence
Obano
Ewels

To be offered, but there's a few more like Malins and Earl who haven't played exessively, it will be interesting to see who gets offered to clubs...
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

The way results have played out this season (thus far) correct predictions not the easiest thing in the world to make.Certainly cannot complain about the entertainment value ,however.

Obano seems to be the only one I can see that is playing?

Also see that Underhill has returned to Bath's team.

Amazed Falcons haven't kicked it out, not worth risking a injury IMO

Newcastle get nothing, Irish get 2 and we get 4 points. Decent return so far this weekend

Given how well Quins are playing I think that there are 6 teams vying for 5th and 6th. Bath, Irish, Saints, Falcons, Wasps and Tigers. I definitely think we can take one of here two spots given how we have improved the longer the season has gone on.

Always good to sit back with the points in the bag and watch the weekend unfold.
