According to this from the Mercury, Martin may be allowed to play for us this weekend.
Hope he does. Irish are a team who are bang on form and very dangerous, so I want all our top players that we can get our hands on.
Exactly, a backrow of Martin, Reffell & Brink would be pretty intimidating!
It would and when you consider that could be the backup back row next season to Liebenberg Van Staden Wiese we have some fantastic options!

Pretty much as expected team wise with the exception of Montoya who will be a big loss and George Martin who perhaps hasn't been released by England

Pleased to see Reffell getting another start and Chessum on the bench. Both have impressed when given the chance.

As others said last week SB has clearly targeted this game for a win, hopefully with 5 points.

Gutted we don’t get a Montoya / Creevy head to head...

Strong team - glad to see Porter retained in the team, and Chessum rewarded for his form vs Bristol last time out.

When you think we still have players like Genge, Montoya, Martin, Liebenberg, Wiese, Youngs, Ford, Nadolo still to come into that team it shows the depth we now have.

Should be a good game tomorrow night!

They are starting slightly stronger this week with Creevy and Phipps, both made a huge difference when they came on against Bristol.

If we show even half of the defensive effort we showed vs Bristol against Irish tomorrow i have a good feeling we can get the win. Happy to see potter on the wing as while Nadolo is out he gives us a great crash ball option to get over the gain line. As i’m sure everyone else is gutted we aren’t seeing Montoya but Youngs has definitely not been performing badly. Let’s roll on the friday night lights :smt023

Porter. Not Potter. (An easy mistaka to maka!)

I'm looking forwards to this one. LI are a dangerous team that can beat anyone on a given day. I'm glad to see we are picking a team that will be able to challenge.
Likewise as others have posted, I hope we can do a job. Get a W and hopefully a BP.
Need to keep our penalty count down
Bring it on :smt026

This is going to be very interesting. Much as I am looking forward to seeing the continued improvement in our defensive game, we’re clearly going to need to score well against Irish, so I am particularly interested to see if there are any signs of our attacking play improving.
