Sad news on BBC sport website that the former Bath and England number 8 Dave Egerton has died at the age of 59 from COVID symptoms. Always remember him as a very good player who was a big part of Baths success during their glory years.
Another one taken too early.

Very sad news but it doesn't mention COVID in the BBC report I read.

True it wasn’t on the BBC report, my son who lives in Bath gave me the Covid news after I had read the report.

In addition to the sad news about Dave Egerton I see that rugby sadly lost John Pullin this week also.
A great English hooker and captain and a 7 time cap for the Lions.
I remember watching him when was a youngster (in black and white initially I think) with dear old Bill McLaren commentating .. Those were the days!
