Its a RFU funded pitch, each county was to have one but RFU ran out of money, its an excellent facility with great flood lights, so probably only playable pitch in the county to be able to practise moves etc. "Come on The Forest"!

It's a far superior pitch than what the club has at Oval Park. As others have said it was funded by the RFU so can be booked for use. Unlike most pitches now it won't be water logged.
