I know what you mean, but (and I know this is the party line on occasion), might there be an element of having to build those backline relationships to get defence and attack to gel?

Is this the first game where we have been weaker in the last 20 than the opposition

Much needed 5 points, morale boosting win and great to stop Worcester leaving with any points. Nothing for Bath in their game either :smt023

I know why they are doing it but seeing a group of players that have just spent 80 minutes grappling with each other bumping fists instead of shaking hands just looks ridiculous

The AR could see on the far side what we couldn’t from the tv pictures. Apart from Nadolo’s injury, the only worry for me from a much improved performance are the replacement props. Second week running we’ve had a dominant scrum, swapped the props early and then looked second best.

40+ points. When was the last time we did that? Looking very promising considering how little time they have played together

Yes agreed but we do need to stop opposition scoring, against a top team that could have been a loss of at least 1 point. Glad to get the 5-0

Montoya, excellent, Weise and Hanro too. Big Tomas probably had his best game for us today as well! :smt023

You think? Been decent going forwards, but found myself shouting at him a couple of times in defence.
He does tend to bite in rather than hold his width and trust his inside defence. He’s done it in previous games.
