Sorry to raise this but why have we had no news from Tigers on his move?

I dont think I have missed anything, but it was my understanding that we were promised that any signing or leaving players would be announced internally before anywhere else.

Please correct me if I am wrong

Maybe it's a compensation thing? But the general communication from the club since the end of last season has been poor.

Just because Lyon or Jordan or the press announce he has left and signed for another club, he still has a binding contract with the Tigers.

If the Tigers haven't agreed with whatever financial compensation the French are offering, then he is still our player.

Why is this bad form from us, should we just let him go for nothing??

Manu et al sure jumped up and down when they felt we had reneged on their contract.

Tigers could help themselves with some sort of comment, its obvious he is going & it is now down to monies owed, possibly in both directions. (The general level of communication from Tigers is poor again at the moment)

But boy we could of done with him on the field last night....

If Lyon are not paying up yet or something then I certainly understand why the club is being like it is.

He may be in France but his move from Tigers may still need a few issues to be resolved......

If Lyon are not paying up yet or something then I certainly understand why the club is being like it is.

Especially if the delay in payment is possibly delaying us being able to sign said replacement.

I wonder if it has to do with when he's available for Lyon. E.g. if he tests positive in his quarantine then Lyon may not get him for another few weeks after they expected, and don't really want to pay for a guy who they thought was fit but wasn't, so there could be some clause agreed between clubs dependent on when he comes available for them.

After the acknowledgement from Mr Borthwick it seems he wanted to go and did so of his own violation.

If the man wants to leave so badly then let him go I say. I'd rather be without him than have him play but not be happy
