He posted 4 laughing emojis at 9pm. No reference to tigers whatsoever that I saw. Could have been aimed at the match, but equally could have been aimed at absolutely anything.

That was pretty much what I thought watching the game too.
To win is not as important as playing with style!

Everyone is assuming his post was aimed at the Tigers performance. No proof at all. Hardwick is not training with the squad, hasn't been for some time. If he has posted this as a dig at Tigers then he hasn't done himself any favours but he is obviously hurting and rightly so. Is it any wonder players suffer with their mental health when fans speculate and rip players to pieces continually. Not long ago most fans thought Hardwick was the next in line for Ford's job - how times change. And yes I do understand that Hardwick does have an attitude and probably got too big for his boots before you all start having a go.TigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Fri Jan 29, 2021 10:46 pmVery poor from him...Wayne Richardson Fan Club wrote: ↑Fri Jan 29, 2021 10:33 pmNot the right thing to do & seemingly in character, but you can't argue with him.
Just stop speculating and leave him be.

'Rugby Pass' seem to believe a deal is edging closer between Leicester and Marco van Staden :

At full time he posted a video of a chubby guy on a webcam shouting "out :censored: played" and putting finger to lips.
This might also have been coincidental but he quickly deleted it.
If you do want to be left in peace, don't post inflammatory messages on your twitter when the majority of your followers will be Tigers fans!

Hardwick's response noticeably different to Nemani Nadolo's Twitter -
'That was frustrating .. Apologies to the fans who watched and supported us tonight. You deserve better.. we will take the learning from tonight and move on to next weeks assignment. #tigersfamily '
Refreshing honesty, contrition and determination to improve. Well done Nemzy, really hope you stick it out with Tigers.

We have a highly potent weapon in Nadolo. We have to learn how and when to use him to the greatest effect.RichieB wrote: ↑Sat Jan 30, 2021 11:59 am Hardwick's response noticeably different to Nemani Nadolo's Twitter -

Nadolo is a good example of player learning and maturing from his mistakes.
A lot of players would've drifted away after what happened Exeter.

If we do sign him, I hope this isn't one of his better games.TigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Sat Jan 30, 2021 3:20 pmLooks like we get a bit longer to watch... into extra timeRagingBull wrote: ↑Fri Jan 29, 2021 9:55 am Marco van Staden who's been linked to us to replace Taufua is starting at 6 (So our 7) in the Currie cup final for the Bulls v Sharks.

Danny Ciprani available should we need reserve Fly
Half options....would make a decent understudy to George Ford

Not until their are fans back in stadiums. He's not interested in rugby unless there are at least a few thousand people on hand to make him feel special.

Didn't realise that about their 6 being our 7. So what a perfect signing he would be and what a back row this would be:RagingBull wrote: ↑Fri Jan 29, 2021 9:55 am Marco van Staden who's been linked to us to replace Taufua is starting at 6 (So our 7) in the Currie cup final for the Bulls v Sharks.

6. Liebenberg
7. Van Staden
8. Wiese
I would love to see a front row with Genge & Montoya with that back row. Need to sort our locks out though. Not sure Green and Wells are high enough calibre and with Lavanini and maybe Enever off we could do with signing one or 2 quality locks. Then we would have a pretty formidable pack.
Oakham lad born and bred, Tigers season ticket holder who is enjoying steady progression back towards the good old days!
