Interesting.
Whilst I wouldn't complain I think there are few enough leaks from the club now that these type of rumours are likely just rumours.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Would welcome this one - Burns undoubtedly still has more than enough talent to play Premiership Rugby.
Seemingly heading rapidly toward senility .....Not long or far to go now , in fact, getting worse daily.....

Played some good rugby at Tigers. Not so good for Barf. Prone to be a little irrational. I don't know if he is missing home but I think this would not be the move he would want.
If we are looking to compete on three fronts and need depth of squad we could not miss an opportunity - if the budget allows.
He knows the core of the squad and would be an ideal fit.
Rumour or not????

I'd have thought if Priestland moves back to the provinces, and, as he was overlooked at Barf for Priestland he might have been eyed up for a return there. It is is home City. Hooper may need that kind of player.

Hooper had that player, didn't seem to want him.

Perhaps Ford is leaving................otherwise it would be an odd signing & not a great use of the Salary Cap.

For all his good points I am still not convinced that our, at times constipated backline isn't down to Ford.

Freddie is so wildly inconsistent he isn't a great choice as a back up 10, he did appear to be getting better towards the end of his time with us, but his performances at Barth were a return to type..on his day he is great to watch...weirdly on his awful days it interesting as well.

FB was pushed out by Simon Cohen, if you remember the nandos stories.

Hes 30 and an ideal second choice for when fords away.

Before he left he still had ambitions of being first choice somewhere, an idea that after what looks like a less than enjoyable time in Japan is probably gone.

He could come back and still have a legacy here.

Burns would be signed as backup to Ford. We also have Bonilla. Henry is apparently leaving at the end of the season.

Where would that leave Zac Henry who has looked good. Not discounting fluffing his try scoring opportunity.?

I've seen a lot more positives than negatives in Henry - except for that inforgiveable brainphart!
It'd be a shame if he were to be leaving because what little I've seen of Bonilla who hasn't exactly impressed, Henry has certainly cemented his spot as Ford's back-up.
