Sale have no Currys, neither of the good DuPreezs in JL and Dan, no van Rensburg and so far this season no functioning lineout. Tigers should be winning this.

Excited to see Moroni against Sam James. Great that Wigglesworth is back.

I really dislike the 6-2 split bench.
Other than that, decent looking lineup.

Let's hope we get on slightly better then than 36-3! we are the home side this time for what it's worth and have a much stronger side this year.. considerable impact off the bench and a few big names missing for Sale.. fancy this one :smt023

This game will be won or lost at the breakdown and in the set piece so I am happy with the 6-2 split.

Not really sure how WW can play...massively ironic (& wrong) if his ban is spent due to Covid Cancellations.

If McPhillips really is the best option in the backs on the bench something odd is going on.

Freddie the most "capped" back...

I’m guessing there are plenty of other backs available but none that can cover 10. If Bonilla has picked up a knock then I guess it’s JMcP or risk not having cover should Henry get injured. With a 6/2 split the 9 & 10 positions need coving no not much of a look in for Potter, Porter, Murimurivalu

Thanks. Good to see him available, he's an important part of BW's gameplan and PV can have impact off the bench.

Ian Cant wrote: Thu Jan 28, 2021 11:53 am That statement alone from Sanderson shows how astute he is and Sale, with him at the helm should get into the top four. He will have Sale more than ready to face whatever we throw at them. Maybe not having Ford playing might mean we too know everyone has to step up their performance from the Bath game. We certainly cannot afford to start slowly and have to play with intensity for the whole game.
We all thought Gustard would do great things with Quins though, too early to call how well Sanderson will do.

Maybe JMcP is in ahead of Bonilla owing to the overseas player rule?
With Moroni starting and Montoya on the bench and likely to be on the pitch at the same time, might they constitute the two allowed overseas players?
(someone on the forum previously thought that Lavanini had a euro passport)

Two strong looking sides, home advantage is less of an effect with no fans present I would have thought, this is about who has managed the 2 week break the best and is best prepared, I fancy a Tigers win.
COME ON YOU TIGERRrrrrrssssss

With the Curry boys out I do fancy our chances.

We need to put pressure of Faf de Klerk as he is very dangerous when given time on the ball. Hopefully Reffell will give him a hard time. :smt023
