My feelings towards the challenge cup is I would far rather not be in it than win it.

At best you can say you’re better than the other bottom 6 of each league is pretty bittersweeet.

But I would still celebrate winning it.

I find the obsession with the Saints game of recent years another tragic indication of where we are.

Yes Saints was always a big game but our biggest games were always the ones with more than local pride riding on them, our season defining games should be against Exeter, Saracens, Toulouse, Leinster Clermont and Racing. Until we reach that point we still have work todo

Yes I'm of a similar persuasion, would prefer to be in Heineken Cup but it's still a competitive competition once you reach the knockouts, and it's a more of a major trophy than the PRC!
