That time is not yet, they've moved us, very slightly, forwards from where we were when they took over. If we keep sacking coaches because they fail to bounce us straight to the to the play-offs when we've been relegation scrappers for the past few years things will never improve.
No, not that one!

Disappointing game, Tigers undone by dysfunctional half-backs.

He's been average. Some out the box ones but he has been mainly consistent.
Consistently bad, but not in a biased way.
No he’a not biased, just 🩲

Amazing what happens if we actually use our players for running with the ball!?!!

On today’s showing I think JVP, Montoya and Steward enhanced their rep.

Maybe time to give JMcP or Diaz Bonilla the keys at 10 next time out?

The fight and heart is there - can’t fault that. Cut out the aimless kicking and the silly errors and I think we’ll win more of those sort of games. Disappointing but there’s some progress in there.

I think this was sarcasm. My "journey" comment is what I expect SB to say.

Agreed. Half backs were poor and let’s hope we have got the rust out of our system
as it’s Worcester next with hardly anyone missing.
Borthwick has to instil in players to vary the game. It’s no use being afraid to score by running the ball as well as kicking it away. Not kicking for 3 points also a strange decision when down to 14!
Move on.

I'm sure I've seen players (Tigers' ones) sent for a sit down for deliberately batting away opposition passes even of they did do it backwards?

The law needs changing, a deliberate slap down of the ball is cynical play and should be penalised. If van Wyk slaps it out on the full it’s a yellow card, but you slap it down in open play it’s fine? Doesn’t make sense to me.

Scott played some of his best rugby in a Tigers shirt thus far, whilst Montoya provided an exciting 35 minute stint.

Big one next week, must win against fellow relegation scrappers.

Since Henry didn't run in that open try a couple of months ago he's been very average. Very.

That said, other than Steward, I'm struggling to see many players who impressed today. Wiese, Liebenberg, Reffell - all previously game-winners, tonight were all anonymous. I don't think I saw van Wyk carry the ball. Ditto either of our centres apart from Scott's mad run which gifted them a try (not his fault).

Argh. I suspect there'll be a few, coy "how the hell did win that one??" comments on the Sale team bus home tonight.

Sale have had a two week break, same as Tigers, but have played 6 games since the start of December. Tigers have played 1 in the last 5 weeks.....disappointing but mistakes gave them an easy 10 points.....last season we would have caved in and lost heavily conceding tries.
