Turned to rain now here in Brum but looks like there’s more on the way Thursday. How’s Leicester?

It was only a joke, the last thing Prem Rugby needs is weather-related cancellations. I'm sure it will be fine, no clue about Leicester but the snow in Hinckley whilst settling shouldn't last that long.

Pitch is due to be covered under a tent tomorrow so the pitch should be okay and game go ahead.

Do we have enough players fit and ready?

We wouldn’t be going to all that trouble with a tent etc if we didn’t have enough players fit and ready.

As it is a televised game, Premiership Rugby have tents that can be sent to the home clubs prior to the matches to ensure that TV matches are not lost due to frozen pitches.
Has nothing to do with player availability and am guessing that the players will have completed their isolation period and provided negative tests to be available for selection.

That’s great news. Would happily have him for the Saints game too! In fact, all our games! Best by a country mile in the Premiership IMO

I loathe to blame refs but the last couple v Saints I remember him being below his usual standards

I just remember him sending Hartley off in the final 2013! Great day that one!

Plus, to be honest him being below his usual standards still puts him ahead of a huge number of premiership referees IMO. Some decent ones coming through atm but too many inconsistencies with the vast majority for me.
