It might not be one sided. The Irish Union aren't negotiating any contracts until January whilst they review their finances post Covid. Ulster might well be happy to let him leave a season early in order to be able to spend the funds on keeping other players. Ideally younger ones that get injured less.

Rumours took off on the internet in recent days after a keen-eyed motorist claimed that he spotted Devoto and members of the Wasps staff, including head coach Lee Blackett, in conversation in a motorway services station.

If they loose Weir and Hougaard without adequate replacements they are really gonna struggle, they were talking on Rugby Tonight about too many teams have too much cap space taken up by luxury wingers and this strikes me as another case of that
