Brand who was White's understudy for the under 20s and who LI didn't trust to be the back up option so they signed Groom on a short term deal has signed an extension. He'll be A team next season.

A Leinster squad player who can also play in the back three has also joined. Seems like a bit of a punt by LI, could pay off but might not.

Not sure White should be overly worried by either of those two. If anything if those are going to be the competition for the back up spot he should be delighted. If White does lose out to them then he might have to consider dropping down a level.
