32 caps for Wales IMO is above average.

You seem to just be basing it on his size.
Green is a small lock yet IMO it showed massively how much we missed him the last couple of weeks.

32 International caps 7 in the last year suggest he does fine at lock.
(Wales site seem to have him 6ft 5 and 18st 3)
He had a couple of very good showings in the 6N where he was a bit of a menace at the breakdown of I remember rightly. Liebenburg our go to lineout jumper is 6ft6 so going by the Wales website only an inch difference.

I'd be surprised if he left on 32 caps though. With Beard gone and AWJ getting no younger he'd be in line for a lot of international caps going forward. Lock isn't an area of strength for Wales when it comes to depth.

In terms of squad depth and experience, and the fact that he fits the bill of being a blindside who can play lock perfectly, I think Rhodes would be a good acquisition to the club.

Anyone who thinks his addition will block younger talent is quite frankly not paying enough attention to our squad selections, as Borthwick has shown that he is willing to reward hard work and training over names or being an international.

Josh Strauss released
Frans van Wyk released
Feauai-Sautia has only played a season in France it seems after leaving Queensland, would be a good pick up if he weren’t heading back to Australia. Can play at 13 or in the wings.

What a troll
AWJ is the most overrated player the game has EVER seen,Evans was the superior lock for me. How is it trolling?!
Because Evans act of thuggery destroyed Ellis's knee basically and lead to eventually retiring at 28

Beauxis still playing! He must be in his 40s.

I second the AWJ comment TBF.
I'm not that big a fan on welsh locks generally Charteris was good but never performed with Bath

I mean you said that a player was too small for lock despite him playing 30+ Internationals at lock lol

Even if the base level is say Rowlands he's still a very good lock and Wasps will miss him a lot.

Just to clarify I don’t think that he is any better than Green but would probably cost a lot more. I said that I would sooner develop Martin and Henderson than spend money on a player who is no better than what we have already got. IMO Martin has the potential to be a lot better than Cory Jones
