He signed a four year deal a while back (I think) so when Sarries got relegated he had two years left. WRU wouldn't buy him out and Sarries didn't want to release but they'd loan him out. He took a loan to Wales to boost his international chances. He'll comeback do a year at Sarries then presumably head over to Wales again otherwise it ends his international aspirations.
Thanks :smt023.

Rumour and speculation from 'The Ruck' - confirming a new coach at Sarries (Kelly Brown), Huw Jones to Bayonne together with speculation re Alex Lozowski & Jack Nowell .... Read and believe (or not).

All sounds plausible bar the Lozowski one which sounds like an agent trying to squeeze Sarries on negotiation. Their rumours page recently has been on the safe side with done deals and new contracts. Perhaps trying to build a reputation for being more reliable.

I've also read that Huw Jones has signed a two-year deal with Bayonne in the Top14.

Worcester also apprently signing Amanaki Mafi

A signing 5 years ago I would've really wanted us to make.
But since then I have zero desire for him at tigers even without Wiese

Agreed, seems to be a very disruptive figure with a nasty streak

Have Worcester had a lot of outgoings? They seem to be making quite a few signings including a few I can't see being cheap.

None confirmed yet, but I believe they may have a big turnover this year

Ollie Lawrence would make a great signing for us if we can afford the cap space...

I've heard similar from a good source.

I agree he would be great for us - although I’m seeing more of his style coming through in Porter (who would likely save some money without missing too much bang for buck) also, He is one I believe is still in contract with the Warriors until 2022.

Sounds like their owners are unhappy with their current form, and believe a larger squad overhaul could be what it needed to trim some ‘deadweight’. They have talented youngsters coming through, one can only hope they get the chance and right mix of players around them to realise their potential.

That's trips to Dudley Zoo out of the question then....
To win is not as important as playing with style!
