I thought the Danny Care quote was the most damning. The Quins experienced players have been accused of living in the past and harking back to 2012. That comment seems to support it. If your most experienced players are unwilling to see change at the club you've got little chance of improving them. Probably why Gustard pushed out Robshaw and was pushing out Brown.

Bit harsh. Consistently good finishes with Quins, and the Italy Head Coach role is hardly the appointment everyone dreams of.

Gustard and John Wells are both working in Italian rugby now. Michael Bradley, now at Zebre, was defence coach for Georgia from 2013-16 whilst a stronger side as well.

It will be interesting to see if improvements in defensive systems filter into the Italy setup.

Sounds like he will be going to replace beka gorgodze who is thought to be joining Bayonne. Both Bayonne and Bordeaux were also rumoured to be in for van staden in this backrow transfer merry-go-round.

There've been rumours that Quins may be interested, but that's unlikely in my opinion.
