Not sure that we have changed from kick chase, signing Wigglesworth I am expecting more of it, he never was a running SH.

I never thought of you as a non Tigers supporter, surprised by your comments.
Re: Tigers vs Gloucester
It's just a shame the England match and Tigers game are streaming at the same time.....or have we established that the Tigers game is actually going to be on a recordable BT channel rather than just the red button or streamed (like the England game)?

Hey, Chobbsy! You've taken confinement too seriously! Yes, both are injured and out for the foreseeable future, although I'm not sure exactly how long.Chobbsy wrote: ↑Fri Nov 20, 2020 12:41 pmAre Tomas Lavanini and Jordan Taufua injured?westwinds31 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 20, 2020 12:01 pm Leicester Tigers (v Gloucester Rugby, home, Saturday 3.00pm)

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester
Ah. Excellent. Thanks, hadn't spotted that.
Doh....just checked and it's Miles Harrison. Could be worse I suppose, at least he hasn't got Stuart Barnes with him. I much prefer Nick Mullins. Nes there is in my opinion.
Anyway, this is getting off topic.

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester
I wonder where Matt Scott is? I wonder if he has Covid as was fit at end of last season and surely would've played 12 or been on bench.
Great to see Wiese and Brink involved FINALLY. I have high hopes for these two. Don't know why but I really fancy us for this game, lets hope its the return to winning ways.

SB (according to Rugbypass) did say there were a few players who would be unavailable due to Covid. Don't think anyone doubts that Scott is our first choice 12 so withoutword of other injuries it probablyis covid. Pretty sure Leatigaga would at least be on the bench too if fit over Bower. Other than those Wallace and maybe Enever would have been the only ones who may have got picked in the 23, but aren't certs either way.PaleoTiger wrote: ↑Fri Nov 20, 2020 12:57 pm I wonder where Matt Scott is? Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Happy with the team, hoping for a gritty performance, should be close either way.

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester
I was thinking the same.
And whilst those Gloucester backs may be past it (I don't believe so personally) they will be pretty good under the high ball.
Honestly Gloucester's team here may not be the best in the Prem but they have for the most part been together a fair well and if they play to their best will be a strong cohesive unit. I fail to see how we can be anywhere near that for a few weeks. I am will try remain optimistic and in sport strange things can happen. It's not like we don't have good players. And who knows maybe they can click quicker/better than I think.
I think we have the better bench if that comes into play.

What's the weather forecast ? Wet and windy could suit us. Dry could suit Cirpriani, depending on which Cipriani turns up of course. The running magical Cirpriani or the can't do anything for trying Cirpriani.

3 back row players in the back row
Re: Tigers vs Gloucester
Don't take that the wrong way. What I am getting at it is that Bananaman, Woodward, 12T, Sharples have all proven themselves at this level over several seasons. Can we say Taute and Van Wyk are as good? The rest (aside from Wrigglesworth ) of our starting backs are young or youngish and we are yet to find out if they will have careers like the aforementioned Gloucester players.
