Well done! I eat my words from yesterday. Wigglesworth made all the difference - still feel for White but he can learn a lot from him. Wiese was good at 8 - and Brink when he came on for Reffell made a good impression. Big unit!
Bring it on then - 5 points in the bag. Hopefully we can get the away win next week. Made a difference having Wells at lock - that is where he's best suited! :smt041 :smt041

We have to remain grounded but by far our best performance of 2020, Gloucester indiscipline gave us the platform but you have to take those chances and we mostly did! Just got to keep the momentum going!

How good was it to finally have the rub of the green :smt003!

Not saying those today didn't play well but add Ford, Genge, MuriMurivalu and Nadolo into that mix and things look pretty tasty (long way to go yet and not getting carried away).

Youngs on the bench :smt002 good backup when legs are tired late on.

Come on. That wasn’t anything like a stamp, even under modern interpretations.

This can’t be a dead cat bounce or another false dawn, as good as that game was we mustn’t get too ahead of ourselves!

Oh wow what is this feeling? A win and a good one at that! Especially given we were missing Leatigaga, Scott etc.

Wiese was immense, my man of the match and a beast both ball in hand and defence. Wigglesworth and Taute great too. Taute especially is a man transformed, some good carries and big turnover. Brink another unit coming off the bench and smashing the opposition.

Shout out too to Clare and Bower, both came on and played very well. Clare especially with a good try and the lineout was flawless with him throwing in. Cementing himself as no.2 hooker.

Honestly would love too know what Walters and the backroom staff did.
We must have really used that restart at mainly fitness work? but he seemed to really nail down the self isolation plans for the players.

In terms of MotM on the pitch would be Wiese for me.

Pleasantly unexpected. It’s like they’ve suddenly decided to play rugby.
I thought Wigglesworth was excellent as was Steward, but the whole team produced. Well done.

The lads did good. Can't think of a player who didn't have a good game. I hope the club have out a crate in the changing room after the game because they all deserve a beer after that.

Expectations shattered! If we keep that endeavour up, we'll be just fine.

I want to shoutout Guy Porter. I thought he had potential, but looked off the pace last season. But like many, he stepped up his level here.

Argentina won after not playing for over 400 days, proves you can over train.
