Perhaps we should train less every week.

Wow, hope for a full season like that! We have made some super signing, including Wigglesworth, brilliant win. :smt041 I think our backs outshone those outstanding Gloucs backs :smt046

If this is the baseline, watch out for the Tigers!!!

Wow, wow, wow! I'd almost forgotten how it was to see Tigers win like that, please, more of this gentlemen!

No, not that one!

Remember, whatever you do to the smallest of the backs you do to his prop, and you can't avoid the rucks and mauls forever...

I know you don't like it when I boo him but how else will he know he's wrong?

Big Dai 6 pints (Four tries and the lead in each half)

Posh Richard 1 pint ( 1 try)

Very satisfactory.... Now off to buy a bottle of Remy. It's been that long.

Impressed with Wigglesworth and Steward and just who is this Wiese character? Good carrier that lad. Nice team effort. Tauteooked rejuvenated.

Cheers all.

Can't moan at that. Things to work on still but 5-0 in first match after Covid in camp and little practice time in the run up, would've ripped hands off if offered that before kick-off.

Glaws pretty poor though.

Lots of good performances, some players look truly reborn - even Dan Cole made some yards with ball in hand :smt002 and loving the back row options/performance. Defence was generally good and apart from a snooze period just before and after HT we looked OK.

Our rolling maul is back, finally found its way home!

Seemed like we laboured to get the 4th try and TBP, had flashbacks to too many games of recent years where we failed, but we got it in the end, all that mattered. Nice winning start, improve morale in the team/camp no end, keep it up guys.

Jan McGinty needs to take a bow some great recruitments across the whole team!
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

I think Wigglesworth showed what we missed when Youngs and Ford was away.
A steady head that will give a 10 like Henry time with the ball.
Henry in the first half pulled some great passes Toomua esque miss passes.
Taute had his best game since prob 2017/18 Munster, did what I hoped he would.

Also makes a difference having so many options in the back row, and playing Wells at lock.

That's the line drawn in the sand, anything less than that not acceptable, still loads to work on which is positive, Glaws were poor though.

Our absent Fijians might be fighting for one spot, Taute is a really clever player.

As an aside SA rugby really know how to turn out players, so many now play up here.

Start again a fresh next Sunday, a poor performance next week makes today a waste.
To win is not as important as playing with style!
