Re: Changes since 2018/19
Brady had moved before 2018/19 if memory serves me right? Apart from that an interesting list, here's to a bit more squad stability over the next few years!

I do wish we’d kept Will Spencer instead of bringing in Enever

He was never fit. Didn't last too many games, rarely played more than a couple in a row.before getting injured and, if memory serves, was prone to a card or two.Leicestertinytiger wrote: ↑Sat Nov 07, 2020 4:56 pm I do wish we’d kept Will Spencer instead of bringing in Enever

Only had one card if memory serves me right, the red vs Wasps which still goes down as quite contentious.

Re: Changes since 2018/19
I suspect Enever is on considerably less than Spencer. I liked Spencer as a player, problem was he needed two of three games to refind his form after injury but picked up niggly injury to frequently to stop that form being shown regularly.Leicestertinytiger wrote: ↑Sat Nov 07, 2020 4:56 pm I do wish we’d kept Will Spencer instead of bringing in Enever

Didn’t we have Ma’afu and Feao in 18/19 too?
Re: Changes since 2018/19
Add to that the ongoing changes in coaching team.

Re: Changes since 2018/19
Wasn't Ma'afu a injury signing for Genge?
Couldn't remember if Faeo was injury or proper also
Re: Changes since 2018/19
I believe Feao was the full season and Ma'afu injury dispensation. Feao played well I thought as an interim signing after we couldn't get the early release for Leatigaga.
Was Ross McMillan injury dispensation for Stevens or a full season? A lot of injury signing that season. Sarto and Varndell too. Such a shame how Sarto's form has dive bombed after injury.
Splitting hairs I know but was Fred Tuilagi senior squad for his final year? Either way he just appeared in the PRC I think.
On the present day, the improvements in the back row, fly-half and back three are huge. White's development and Wigglesworth signing gives decent scrum-half depth as well. When you look at list like that it highlights how much academy grads like Reffell and Steward breaking through can change the look of the squad. Hopefully Martin and Henderson can do similar in the second row this season.

Whilst highly critical of Ma’afu’s signing, I actually was quite impressed by his performances and was disappointed he didn’t stay on for a little longer. He is now retired completely as far as I know.

Re: Changes since 2018/19
Getting and keeping Will Spencer on the field was always the big issue.Without doubt any progress was checked by injury although he did possess all the raw attributes - a strange statement to make really, considering his age.
Seems a similar situation now back at Bath , with starting and matchday (23) appearances very limited and irregular. Undoubtedly wold have been interesting to see how things would have transpired under Borthwick with his specific expertise but c'est la vie...

Seemingly heading rapidly toward senility .....Not long or far to go now , in fact, getting worse daily.....

Re: Changes since 2018/19
I'am probably not alone in thinking what a great post that was from Raging Bull and in those 3 seasons there are players that had slipped my mind - I hope this is not the onset!!
Now several years ago and if my long term memory serves me well before the update of this forum - there was an A-Z of past players and their basic statistics whilst serving Tigers (not to be taken literally!)
Then there were the annual Tigers Yearbooks that gradually reduced in size before vanishing all together and these gave all the players details and playing records.
I would love to see the A-Z list of players again on the website, perhaps a general overall index and then in 10 year blocks i.e. 2000-2009, 2010-2019 etc.. I must admit I watched a recent video and it took ages to remember the grey haired winger we had a few years back = Tom Brady.
I wonder what others think?

To the world you may be just one person.
But to that one person you may be the world!
