Sad news this morning JJ has passed away, aged 72. Only seems like yesterday he was flying down the wing! RIP.

What a fantastic player. A key component of one of the best Welsh teams ever to entertain us.

Deep condolences to his family and friends.

Agreed. Seems like part of my youth has passed away with him.

Bobby Ball (half of 80s comedy duo, Cannon and Ball) has also passed away. Both deaths were reported on Radio 4 News this morning but Bobby got top billing.. Not making any particular point but I do wonder sometimes how BBC news editors decide on their priorities and running order.

R.I.P.
Integral part and epitome of those great free flowing Welsh sides of the 70's.
Seemingly heading rapidly toward senility .....Not long or far to go now , in fact, getting worse daily.....

When you saw the BBC montage yesterday it made the pulse rise.
To win is not as important as playing with style!
