I like the look of Van Wyk I will say.
Even though only seen him in defence.

Me too. Most of our players look good, individually.RagingBull wrote: ↑Sun Oct 04, 2020 3:47 pm I like the look of Van Wyk I will say.

As a team?

Wells having a very good game though
Re: Tigers vs Quins - 04 Oct 20 15:00
Can they please check the air in the ball at half time, I think we've kick all the air out of it!! we have world class finishers on the wings who never see the ball!!!!!

Wells proving a real menace , first half.
Back row active, but we seem terrified of risking our arm and playing rugby.

Weird post! Especially as he just gave away a donkey penalty for playing the scrum half at the ruck.RagingBull wrote: ↑Sun Oct 04, 2020 3:47 pm I like the look of Van Wyk I will say.

Did we really steal their line out 5 metres from our own line in the final minute and STILL concede a try?

I've no problem with us kicking the ball but we've continually kicked it too long so the chase get there just as Morris calls the mark and then thunders the ball back down the pitch with another excellent touch finder. The couple that have been on the money have seen Nadolo getting results up against Marchant.

IMO you can’t keep booting the ball away forcing yourselves to tackle twice as many times as the opposition and expect to win many games
We are putting so much pressure on our defence and tackling which is flaky at the best of times and it also kills any attacking shape and means Quins have made loads more metres and carries.
That said, what I don’t know about rugby could fill a room!

Bit disappointing first half let’s hope we can improve and perhaps run the ball

Is it just me or was the behaviour after Youngs' try a little odd? Only Scott went to congratulate him, some of the rest celebrated briefly and some forwards just looked completely nonplussed and strolled back to the halfway line.
I don't want to jump to conclusions, but I'm going to anyway - it looked like either a lot of our players don't like each other, or are so demoralised that they can't be bothered to celebrate a try.

They just aren’t used to celebrating

It’s a great tactic if you’ve got a very fit team and an aggressive defence. Check out Eddies early England, especially the Oz tour. Played territory and were better without the ball forcing mistakes with brutish defence. If it doesn’t come off though you can look very silly as we have been.

Not sure we are fully on it today.Tiglon wrote: ↑Sun Oct 04, 2020 3:55 pm Is it just me or was the behaviour after Youngs' try a little odd? To win is not as important as playing with style!
