no one is expecting a complete overhaul but no longer kicking the ball away on first phase would be a start! you cannot score without the ballRichardfje wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 7:08 pmHe’s only been here a matter of months give him a chance, or you should have a go at his job trying to build rhythm with a back line that changes every week with a group of players he’s never worked with and haven’t really played with each other.sapajo wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 7:01 pmOh you mean the non attacking coachRichardfje wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 6:57 pm
We also have a brand new attacking coach who may be a little bit responsible for our current attack, so as much as I understand why people give a lot of blame to Murphy, you should also look at our new attacking coach.

I agree. I think we all agree.. why not try stuff.. except we’re not trying stuff except box kick practise, kicking the ball away practise and 80 minutes defending practise. The one time we tried varying that Henry kicked a lovely cross field kick to Potter and it nearly paid off..RagingBull wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 7:06 pm Here's the thing we have nothing to play for now Europe is over can't get 8th can't get relegated.
So why not try stuff.
I don't get it.
I mean even if it's barbarians style mess in attack just something fun for the last 2 games.
So yes.. please.. let’s try stuff

Even Flatman thinks and suggests that perhaps the Tigers players should "express themselves a bit more" and play some &2** rugby

I see what you mean but it’s difficult to implement tactics when the side is changing every weak so much, I get the frustration I just find it very annoying to read so much negativity from a group of so called ‘fans’Old Hob wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 7:09 pmTesting the squad is fine. But using losing tactics week after week is just moronicRichardfje wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 7:06 pm I feel like a lot of people are forgetting what loads of people on this forum agreed back before the season restart, which is that Tigers had very little to gain in the back end of this season so it can be used for Borthwick to test his squad. I feel like every time a very weak, young Tigers get a lot of points put on them by a much better side everyone starts to lose there mind.
My main point is that if this keeps happening week in week out next season, people are right to start getting very disappointed but this season when we all now it’s a time for testing the squad can we all stop being so negative.

Do me a favour our attack is worse than my old school second XV and they were schoolboy amateursRichardfje wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 7:08 pmHe’s only been here a matter of months give him a chance, or you should have a go at his job trying to build rhythm with a back line that changes every week with a group of players he’s never worked with and haven’t really played with each other.sapajo wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 7:01 pmOh you mean the non attacking coachRichardfje wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 6:57 pm

I understand us kicking it in our half and around halfway but when we were in their half it was just criminal.RagingBull wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 7:04 pmLargely cause we keep kicking it which would suggest we don't have one.sam16111986 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 7:03 pmHow would we know if there was we haven't managed to string phases together so far.
or
We refuse to use it.
McPhillips coming on will be the death of any possible invention ball in hand. Awful missed kick to touch as well.

Forums and blogs were invented for the views of fans whether good, bad or indifferent. They are a place to vent ,as long as we are not booing at the ground what’s the problem? Re: Tigers vs Bristol
stop making sodding excuses, THEY are changing the team every week, THEY are making them kick the ball away on first phase, THEY are picking a second row at 6 costing us in the loose, all the issues are from the management, if you don't put yourself in a position to play at your best then you shouldn't be accepting your wages.Richardfje wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 7:11 pmI see what you mean but it’s difficult to implement tactics when the side is changing every weak so much, I get the frustration I just find it very annoying to read so much negativity from a group of so called ‘fans’Old Hob wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 7:09 pmTesting the squad is fine. Frankly this lot deserve to be booed off by a capacity Welford Road, some of the coaches/management might pull their fingers out then ...
